About

My name is Mimi Vuong and I am a recent graduate from the York/Sheridan Joint Program in Design, also known as YSDN. I hustled hard in order to obtain my Bachelor of Design (Honours) degree and ultimately learned that shit can be turned into sugar if you work your ass off. It's been a humbling experience to be a part of a multidisciplinary design program and I am most grateful for the destined lifelong friends that I made through my journey.

After proudly framing and hanging up my degree, I decided to take full advantage of my summer vacation prior to a committed full-time job. This includes but not limited to going to Las Vegas for the Electric Daisy Carnival (for a second time), attending the Beyoncé and Jay-Z #OTR tour, and randomly breaking into song and dance whenever I hear a Michael Jackson song. Subsequently, I feel like a brand new person who can take on the world. Now I am finally ready to settle down, therefore the urgent need to revamp my website. What I am looking most forward to in my design career is conceiving motion graphics for musicians, filmmakers, and creative firms. I am more than willing to relocate for a job due to my severe case of wanderlust.

Why the rebrand? Well, why not? I'm fresh out of school and I'd like to embrace change. In order to find "the one" studio that will make me happy, I must dress my site to impress. I cannot wait for you to witness the unveiling of MimiVuong.com v.2.0! Stay tuned!!
